Excellent! I love the contrast of the real-life noise with the only-in-her-mind noise.
The stomping feet--she is running from those voices, right? Shivers.
Hearing voices must be so hard. She won't be able to run fast enough. Sad for sure but well written!
Aww, how hard it has to be. Poor her, noise inside and outside never any peace :-(
Such tragedy in such few words. Really great.
Amazing how the mind tunes in to impact of sound effects far beyond the sound! Creative!
Brilliant!

Feels a little Edgar Allen Poe--in the best way...what are the voices saying?

Give it a shot! Thanks for the follow...right back at ya!@glnroz: I WAS grinning! LOL!@Ashling: What a compliment, quoth the Raven evermore.
The mind is a powerful holding place. Good one. :O)

Ooh...She is hearing voices... Very different take this week, and definitely a book I would not put down!
This is probably an odd response, but I laughed because I've SO been there!
@Susan Forbes: I may working the voices into my book. God knows I keep hearing them!@Catherine Denton: Not odd at all! If we can laugh at them, the voices just might go away! :O)
I hope she manages to stomp loud enough that one day she will silence the voices. Great micro fiction! Cheers~
