Silent Night

The object of the conference was to educate the family members, explain the options available and potential outcome of the treatment; but the bleak future Dr. Fischer projected was met with complete silence.

Thanks everyone! I worked in funeral service for 12 years and I'm married to a funeral director. Writing about death and illness comes naturally, though I worry about triggering sad memories for someone. The holidays are always difficult for those who have lost loved ones.
